Meet Our Founder & CEO
Christopher M. Bua, J.D.
- Plaintiff-only settlement consultant based in Jacksonville, Florida and servicing clients nationwide.
- Works to maximize settlement recoveries through a holistic planning approach inclusive of annuities, trusts, and market-based solutions
- Since 2008, Chris has played a role in the creation of over $2 billion in structured settlements, spanning thousands of cases.
- Chris graduated from the University of Florida in 2004 with a business degree and earned his Juris Doctorate from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2007.
- Current President and 3-Term Board member of the Society of Settlement Planners
- Prior to forming Bua Settlements, Chris was the Senior Vice President of Sales at Independent Life, where he oversaw sales and operations for the company’s first $800 million in structured settlements, created and hosted the once-popular podcast, “Settlement Nation”, and took the lead in rolling out the company's innovative index-linked structured settlement annuity, iStructure.
